Sewing Class
Jan 9th, 2008 by Sylvia
Both my daughter in law and youngest daughter received a sewing machine for Christmas this year. We got together this week and learned how to use the machines and made aprons. The aprons were reversable and had a pocket on both sides. DIL’s was scalloped at the bottom.
Here are some highlights from the day:
And then my daughter made one for the grandbaby…..
So, here are all three girls in their homemade aprons!

Very nice! Looks like you may have a budding family tradition!
Fantastic! I love hearing about sewing! The 2 new sewers did a wonderful job and they all look so good! How did Beth do the scallops?
Love, Wardeh
Wardeh,
I had already cut out the apron for her. I made the scallops using a small saucer

Oh that looks like fun!!! They both did a beautiful job!! Rachel is just starting to use my sewing machine. I love teaching her these things.
BTW, I wish I could come down there for a visit and teach you to knit!!
Then maybe you could teach me to make soap…or crochet…or…
Have a great weekend!! Love, Karen T.
Those aprons look great! The girls did a good job!
