It was a dark and stormy night………..

Its stormy and dark this morning. The TV has gone out while I was watching the news and the power may not be far behind. I Love days like this. The children like to do their school work by candle light. LOL! We’re a strange bunch.
I took some photos of the water running through my back yard but I think they are too dark. When it rains really hard the rain water flows through all the yards on this side of the street to the creek at the bottom of the hill and into the river which is about 2 miles away. I used to walk in the backyard rain water when I was a child. There’s too much lightening out there this morning to do that though!
One of my dogs is really nervous with all the noise, the other one is asleep. Poor doggy. I guess I had better go and calm her down…
I sympathise with the doggy being nervous! I hate lightening! But I do love rainy days, as long as I don’t have to leave the house!
