It All Piles Up….

Today is really going to be a much busier day than I posted on the T2CHK Message Board. I have a lot of reading and study to do for an upcoming article on my other blog on my city’s history. I’m doing a series of articles on the oldest buildings in the city.
Then, there is a house sitting around me that needs really intense attention. The floors are in dire need of sweeping and mopping, the bathroom needs to be cleaned, the living room needs a good cleaning and there is laundry out my ears.
There are several ministry items that I really need to work on and I need to get the music and scripture all picked out for Sunday. And finally, there are several meals that need to be made.
I am so thankful that I can start my day with giving thanks and praise to the Lord. I can ask for Him to guide my steps, control my tongue, go about my day in a way that reflects well on Him and have the energy and stamina to do all my work. If I didn’t, I’d be a basket case by now!
Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song

Praying that you get it all done! I think your Psalm you posted is very appropriate!

I can well imagine you would need the LORD’S help! There are only the 2 of us now, and sometimes I feel overwhelmed. I need to seek the LORD early and ask for His help- NOW. It is 9am Sunday morning here. Time for me to get ready for church. The house will still be waiting for me when I get back- that is a certain thing! LOL
