Homemade Scouring Powder
1 cup baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/8 cup borax
1/4 cup grated lemon, orange or grapefruit peel.
Combine all ingredients in a container with a shaker top. Stir well with a plastic or wooden spoon. Attach the shaker top. Wet the area to be cleaned thoroughly and then shake the cleaner all over the wet area. Rub and scrub with a soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
