So far…so good!

I’ve gotten all of the bodice done except for the hand-sewing. I can sit at home in the evening and get that done pretty quickly. I decided to use a crocheted collar. Crocheted collars are not period to the 19th century unless they are small, I am hoping this one is not too wide.
The next thing I need to do is to re-work an old chemise so that it is more 19th century than 18th century. The sleeves will have to be removed and then shortened.
Here are a couple of photos of the bodice. Nothing special. But I really did need it!

Oooo, it looks lovely. Are you going to make the crocheted collar?
Thank you!
Its made already. If you look closely at the picture you can see it. A dear friend of my Mother’s made the collar.

It looks awesome Sylvi!!!!! Great job! I personally love the crocheted collar and do not think it’s too wide at all.
Thank you Traci!
I like it too. It looks very “Little Women” to me

I enlarged the picture and see it now. It is lovely. Your mother’s friend did a lovely job on it.
It’s beautiful, Sylvia!
Lovely! Do we get to see you modeling it?

Just as soon as I can pull it all together, I will model it for you
