Getting Ready

Today I am working on getting ready for the Jamaica trip by cutting out some of our crafts. We’re telling Bible stories and doing a craft with each story.
The Prophecies and Birth of Christ, craft is a star that they decorate.
The Life and Ministry of Jesus, craft is a poem and little foot prints that they put together.
The Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus, craft is a foam cross with the words “Jesus Lives” on it that the children decorate.
The Gospel Message, craft is a Salvation Bracelet with colored beads.
I’m cutting out the stars right now, just finished up writing Jesus Lives on the crosses. Later today I will finish making cloth bracelets so that each child can be identified with a “team” . Each team will rotate to games, crafts, stories throughout the day.

I think you are going to have a good time; busy, but worth it.
Sounds like a wonderful craft. I’m sure the children will really enjoy it.
