My Mind is SO Overwhelmed Right Now… A Ramble
Jul 19th, 2008 by Sylvia
Just a ramble through my mind………
Hey Anyone who reads here. I truly need the Lord to help me sort through my thoughts and get my goals and plans all set down, if you are reading here, could you pray for me?
Jamaica, school, ministry, choir, worship team. Things I love to do! things that are all needing attention right now. And Autumn is the absolute busiest time of the year for me, always.
I will have a 12th grader this year. haven’t had one of those in about 6 years. Hopefully my 12th grader will get a part time job this fall. ;o) She needs the money the experience and the time away from home.
I went yard sale-ing today and found three 30 gallon bags of medical supplies for $5. There are several things in the lot that we can use in Jamaica. Several other things that I can give to the local Good Samaritan group. Most of it is surgical supplies including sutures, gauze, packing, loban, disposable carbon steel surgical blades and bandages. There is a ton of surgical gowns, table covers, mayo stand covers and other paper supplies. The lady I bought them from is going on a medical missions trip to Africa this Monday! We are praying for each other.
Also on my mind is the T2CHK Ministry. It is so very close to my heart, and I believe that God has put it right there in my life. Its been an integral part of my life for the past 11 years. There are many changes coming for the ministry, but I don’t mind so much, I know that God will continue to use this ministry to His glory as long as He wills. Change is just hard to tolerate for most people. I’m no different, though I am usually able to go with the flow after some initial struggle.
So, whatever God has in mind for the T2CHK Ministry, I am excited about, I am looking forward to it, but I’m also sad at the thought of leaving the old ways of doing things behind, KWIM?
I don’t mean to be vague. I am really excited about the things we have lined up for Autumn at T2CHK! But new ways of doing things is a little scary. LOL!

Sylvia, I resonate with so much of what you said. Change is hard, but we know the Lord directs our steps. I personally have a hard time with change (just ask my husband!).
I am definitely praying for you. {{Hugs}} Be encouraged that your example of leaning on the Lord is a blessing to so many others. He uses you every day! Love, Wardeh
Wardeh, thank you so much for those encouraging words! I appreciate them, and I appreciate your friendship. Thank you so much for praying for me.

Praying for you, dear sister. Sometimes we feel so overwhelmed but remember that the Lord doesn’t give us more than we can handle.
